Dematerialized Stage Design at Pier 17 in NYC

Dematerialized was a custom semi-permanent stage that we designed, fabricated, and installed in under 3 months for a 3 month concert series on top the pier 17 building along the east river in NYC. Made up of over 400 individual fixtures, the piece had to conform to a number of serious constraints. Aesthetically, it had to be flexible enough to work for dozens of different major artists while still having a unique and captivating presence. Structurally, it had to be strong enough to hold up to hurricane force winds that can whip along the east river.
